The first annual Northwood King Of The Lake took place Saturday February 16th in Northwood,NH. It was a group effort between the Northwood Lake Ice Racing Association and Flat Track Evolution to raise money to benefit NH Lions Camp Pride (a special needs children's camp).
There were 4 goals to be reached for the first event.
#1- To produce a safe racing environment for everyone involved.
#2- To raise money for Camp Pride
#3- To break the barrier that has been standing in the way of Atv/Motorcycle ice racing in New Hampshire.
#4- To Crown the 2013 King Of The Lake for each class.
All of the goals were met and plans for next years event are already being talked about.
Nineteen atv/motorcycle racer took to the ice separated into five different classes from 50cc kids to full blown open outlaw racing machines. Every class would then race in three different ten lap feature races gaining points for every position. Those who gained the most points would be crowned King Of The Lake
